Madonna announces Scottish date for July 2012

Pop empress Madonna has just announced a world tour which will call in at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on Saturday 21 July. The 'Sticky & Sweet Tour' comes off the back of a busy period for Madge: she's just directed period/contemporary romance W.E. (and won a Golden Globe for her work on the soundtrack), and collaborated with MIA and Nicki Minaj on Superbowl-themed single 'Gimme all your Luvin' (performed at the Superbowl's famous half-time show).

The date in Edinburgh is one of only two dates in the UK on the tour, the other at London's Hyde Park on Tuesday 17 July. Tickets for both shows will go on sale at 10am on Friday 10 February, priced £45–£125 for Murrayfield and £70–£125 for Hyde Park. However tickets can be booked now through Madonna's official ticketing partner, Viagogo.
