Nicola McLean admits taking part in 'Celebrity Big Brother' was the "worst decision" she has ever made.

The former glamour model - who has previously taken part in 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!' - insists everything about the Channel 5 show was "horrible".

She said: "It was horrible in there, everything was horrible. Honestly, it was probably the worst decision of my life to go in there."

After 'This Morning' host Holly Willoughby admitted she had been interested in taking part in the show, Nicola added: "Holly, please take my advice, not a lot of people take my advice, but go and eat bugs in the jungle - do not go into the 'Big Brother' house!"

Nicola - who has sons Rocky, four, and 22-month-old Striker with husband Tom Williams - claims her motivation for taking part in the fly-on-the-wall series was financial, but even the thought of her pay cheque didn't make the ordeal any easier.

Asked if the money helped, she said: "No it doesn't, but that's why I was doing it obviously, to try and help provide for my two little boys."

Despite her comments, Nicola admitted she made friends in the house but hinted she had been badly portrayed by show producers.

She said: "There were good points and I made some really good friends in there, but the editing is very clever which we will talk about after this."
