Amanda Holden was forced to pull out of 'Britain's Got Talent' auditions following signs she was going into labour.
The 40-year-old panellist - who is believed to be around eight months pregnant - was admitted to hospital in London after experiencing pain ahead of attending the ITV1 talent show's Blackpool auditions today (24.01.12).
Amanda - who has a six-year-old daughter, Lexi, with husband Chris Hughes - is now "under observation" at the hospital, according to her spokesperson.
A 'BGT' representative also confirmed today's (24.01.12) auditions would be going ahead with just three judges - Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell.
Last year, Amanda tragically lost her unborn son seven months into her pregnancy but she recently said she has a feeling everything will be "fine" with this baby, which she knows is a little girl.
She said: "People forget how amazingly blessed you are to be able to have children at all, and how lucky you are if everything goes to plan.
"The funny thing is that this time I just know everything is going to be fine. Even Chris, who usually says, 'I hope so' whenever I ask for reassurance, now says, 'I know so.' And we both agreed that rather than keep it secret for ages like before, we would tell people as soon as we were sure it was safe."
