Aaron Livesy set for Emmerdale happiness
Troubled Aaron Livesy is finally set for happiness before he leaves 'Emmerdale' following the death of his tetraplegic boyfriend Jackson Walsh
Aaron Livesy is finally set for happiness before he leaves 'Emmerdale'.
Danny Miller - who plays the troubled gay character in the ITV1 show - recently announced his intention to quit the soap but series producer Stuart Blackburn has promised some cheerful storylines before he leaves to make up for the having Aaron participate in the assisted suicide of his tetraplegic boyfriend Jackson Walsh (Marc Silcock).
He told Inside Soap magazine: "What we're finally going to see with Aaron is, perhaps a proper ray of sunshine - a real chance for him to find some happiness.
"The question is whether he's got the courage to actually accept it."
Pauline Quirke - who plays Jackson's mother Hazel Rhodes - is also set to leave the show and Stuart admitted he will be sorry to see them both depart the programme.
He said: "I think Hazel is going to make the ultimate sacrifice. Both her and Aaron's stories have been magnificent, and what can I say about Pauline Quirke and Danny Miller? They're absolutely phenomenal."
Stuart has previously promised Danny - who first appeared in 'Emmerdale' in 2008 - will go out with a bang.
He said: "We completely respect Danny's decision and are very grateful for the hard work and commitment he has brought to his role as Aaron. We wish him all the best for the future and in the meantime there is still plenty more drama to come from Aaron well into 2012."
