Harry Derbridge: I was close to anorexia
The Only Way Is Essex's Harry Derbridge was once ''close'' to suffering from eating disorder anorexia
Harry Derbridge was once "close" to having anorexia.
The 'Only Way Is Essex' star explained although he doesn't suffer from an eating disorder, he still has a number of "body issues" and a "huge list" of things he doesn't like about himself.
He said: "I was close to having anorexia, so I'm trying to sort it out. I don't have eating problems, just body issues really. I don't eat much and when I do I have a really fast metabolism. I want to put weight on, but it's hard.
"I have a huge list of things I hate about myself, I'm skinny, my legs are too little, my toes are long and disgusting, my nails are yellow from where I put fake tan on."
The 17-year-old reality TV star - who is openly gay - admitted since he first started appearing in the ITV2 show, he has suffered cruel comments from cyber bullies who criticise his weight.
Harry added in an interview with OK! magazine: "They say horrible things like, 'You need a Big Mac'. It's good for girls to look nice and slim, but guys should be well built and masculine, I'm just skinny.
"If I wear a shirt with the buttons undone, my bones are on show. It's not a good look at all."
