Adrian Chiles thinks he and Christine Bleakley should host 'This Morning'.
The former 'Daybreak' presenter - who was sensationally axed from the ITV1 flagship breakfast show alongside the Northern Irish beauty last month - admitted although he would love to take over from 'This Morning' hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, TV bosses would only choose the duo if "no-one else was available".
He said: "Maybe we can do 'This Morning' - not that they would want us, but if no one else is available and they were threatening to take the show off the air, they might put us on."
Adrian also explained while it was "hard to enjoy" his time on 'Daybreak' because of the constant criticism he was faced with, he was much "prouder" of his time on the programme than he was on BBC evening chat series 'The One Show'.
He added in an interview with TV Buzz magazine: "Occasionally I'm hurt because it doesn't take much for me to get in a grump about things, but I'm not really bitter. It's their train set, they don't want me and Christine to do it. We gave it our best shot, but you can't win them all.
"It was hard to enjoy because we were always getting slated, but I'm proud of it - prouder of it than 'The One Show'. It was a difficult time being under that much pressure. You get ratty with one another, but we were the only ones helping each other through it at times."
