Zoe Lyons

With a canvas ‘wall of fear’ depicting the fears of her friends, Lyons strides through this call to courage with aplomb. Never short of a word and barely stopping for breath, she structures comedy vignettes around topics as diverse as lesbian weddings and triskaidekaphobia, and with her razor sharp observation, the audience laugh to the tune of recognition every time. Zoe Lyons: Miss Machismo

Zoe Lyons thinks it's odd that the Pope has been complaining about the blurring of the genders, given that he dresses in a frock and some pretty red shoes. Hear her discussing this, and many other issues to do with and not to do with gender politics, in her Fringe '09 show, 'Miss Machismo'.
