Jennifer Saunders only made more 'Absolutely Fabulous' episodes because Joanna Lumley told everyone she would.
The actress - who plays Edina in the BBC One sitcom - admits she was not planning on making more shows in the series but had to change her mind after co-star Joanna told an interviewer she would be.
She said: "It was mainly because Joanna announced it that we did it. She said, 'Darling, I told them in New York that you're going to do a few more.' "
The show returned on Christmas Day (25.12.11) and one more will be unveiled on New Year's Day (01.01.12), and she admits she has already begun planning the shoot for the movie version of the show, which will take place in France.
She told New York Magazine: "Yes, I'm definitely going to do it. I'm aiming to shoot this in a beautiful part of the Riviera. I fancy the south of France in the spring."
