Harry Judd thinks 'X Factor' was ''less of a big deal'' this year because the ITV1 show was missing something without former head judge Simon Cowell

Harry Judd thinks 'X Factor' was "less of a big deal" this year.

The McFly drummer - who is hot favourite to lift the giltterball trophy in the 'Strictly Come Dancing' final tonight (17.12.11) - explained while he thinks judges Tulisa Contostavlos, Louis Walsh, Kelly Rowland and Gary Barlow did a "good" job, the ITV1 show is missing something without former panellists Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole.

After 'Strictly Come Dancing' beat 'The X Factor' in the viewing figures this series for the first time ever, Harry said: "The new judges are good but I think Simon and Cheryl and really missed.

"Tulisa and Gary are really good. I'm not dissing them it just feels less of a big deal. Without Simon Cowell you don't have the guy at the top of the music industry. And to be honest, it's probably the weakest year for talent."

Harry took part in 'Strictly' at the same time as his fellow band-mate Dougie Poynter competed on 'I'm A Celebrity . Get Me Out Of Here!', but he admitted the jungle-based reality show would not have suited him.

He added in an interview with Attitude magazine: "None of us could have done 'I'm A Celebrity' but Dougie. He's the shyest, but once you get to know him, he's so funny and quirky. He's very endearing as a person.

"'Strictly' suits me because I work hard, and I'm probably the best dancer out of all of us."
