The Only Way Is Essex's Lauren Pope is ''counselled'' by strangers in the street about her break-up from Kirk Norcross

Lauren Pope is "counselled" by strangers in the street about her break-up from Kirk Norcross.

The 'Only Way Is Essex' star - who was dumped by her ex-boyfriend in July after he publicly claimed their sex life had dwindled - explained fans start off by warning her not to go back to the 23-year-old nightclub owner and it eventually turns into a half-hour long chat.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I'll be in Tesco and have someone come up to me and say, 'Don't go back to Kirk, you're too good for Kirk'. It's weird that some random person in the street knows all about your love life, but in a way it's nice because you've always got a little counselling session on hand.

"When something dramatic happens all I want to do is talk about it all the time and my friends are eventually like, 'This is boring'. I end up chatting to strangers for like half an hour in the street about my love life."

However, the 27-year-old DJ isn't anticipating a new romance any time soon, as she thinks there are no "nice" men in Essex - but she would like Hollywood star Bradley Cooper to sweep her off her feet.

Lauren said: "I feel like there are no nice, fresh men in Essex. They're all just boys and I want a nice man.

"If Bradley Cooper could just get a flight over from Los Angeles and meet me in Chigwell and ask me on a date I'd be happy."
