Lauren Pope: Lauren Gooder and I were meant to be
The Only Way Is Essex's Lauren Pope thinks ''someone above'' pushed her and Lauren Goodger into being friends
Lauren Pope thinks "someone above" pushed her and Lauren Goodger into being friends.
The 'Only Way Is Essex' star - who has lived with Lauren since the pair split up from their respective boyfriends, Kirk Norcross and Mark Wright, in the summer - admitted the 25-year-old beauty came along at the "perfect time", as they helped each other get over their failed romances.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Lauren is a lot of fun. I think she came along at the perfect time. I was a bit upset because I'd just broken up with Kirk and obviously she'd just broken up with Mark.
"So it was almost like someone above was looking out for us and kind of pushed us in the right direction to live together, I think it was exactly what we needed.
"Both of us were in a bad way but she was very good and got me up, got me out, got me partying and I think it's exactly what we needed - two girls just out on the town not worrying about men anymore."
After having split from Kirk - who has since quit 'TOWIE' - in July, Lauren explained she has tried to be friends with the 23-year-old nightclub owner, but his "immature" attitude has got in the way.
She said: "I try to be friends with Kirk but he is very immature and he wouldn't let me see my dog so I don't want to be his friend.
"Any mature grown up would understand that even if you break up with someone then you still let them see their dog that I bought and looked after."
