Eat, sleep and breathe: Discopolis
The Edinburgh electronic pop act on their eating habits
What time is breakfast?
Usually sometime after lunch … Fergus is an early bird though.
Tea or coffee?
Laurie can’t do without his green tea, Dave will have an occasional sip of a Darjeeling and Fergus can’t get enough builders’ brew.
Smoking or non-smoking?
In terms of accommodation? Non smoking.
Sweet or savoury snacks?
Sweet, actually no … savoury. Or sweet? Depends on our mood and how much driving is still to come.
What food do you miss when you tour?
Our mums’/girlfriends’ cooking. Can’t beat it.
Who’s the best cook you know?
Beccy Sharp – Laurie’s girlfriend apparently knows her way around a kitchen.
What’s on your rider?
Something ridiculous involving wine and healthy, fruity snacks.
Which country/city has the best food?
Italy/Venice without a doubt.
Do you eat out a lot?
Once upon a time not at all, unfortunately the musician lifestyle makes it quite necessary.
Do you drink onstage?
Quite frequently, yeah, We’ve all become pretty good at finding our sweet spot of drinks to consume before a performance.
