Tulisa Contostavlos is to double her 'X Factor' salary after coaching Little Mix to success.
The N-Dubz singer - who mentored the winners of the ITV1 show throughout the competition - will bag a £450,000 pay rise after impressing series boss Simon Cowell with her no-nonsense attitude.
As well as learning tricks of the trade from co-judge and close pal Louis Walsh, the 23-year-old star is said to have caught the eye of the music mogul with her controversial comments, which saw her brand Misha B a "bully" in the early stages of the competition.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Tulisa will end up with just shy of a million. She's stuck by Louis and learnt a few tricks of the trade from him.
"Plus, she sticks to her views. Weaker people might have retracted what she said about Misha B hassling Little Mix to keep things upbeat but she didn't. The producers love her."
After Tulisa performed a duet with the girl group - made up of Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall - on Saturday night's show (10.12.11), Simon praised the singer for doing a "great job" and said she should become a "permanent member" of the band.
Writing on his twitter page, he said: "I think @officialtulisa should be a permanent 5th member!
"I was really hoping a group would win this year. @OfficialTulisa has done a great job. These girls could be stars. (sic)"
