Alex Jones and Holly Valance leave Strictly
Harry Judd, Jason Donovan and Chelsee Healy will contest for the 'Strictly Come Dancing' final after Alex Jones and Holly Valance were voted off the BBC One show last night (11.12.11)
Holly Valance and Alex Jones have narrowly missed out on places in the 'Strictly Come Dancing' final.
The Australian actress and the 'One Show' host - along with professional partners Artem Chigvinstev and James Jordan - were voted off the competition last night (11.12.11) after finding themselves in the bottom two.
Despite missing out on a place in the final, Alex insisted it wouldn't "be right" if she had made it into the final three.
She said: "I genuinely think everybody else was in a different league to me. It is a dancing competition and I think the right three people are in the final.
"I knew I would never walk away with the glitterball trophy as there were stronger dancers - that was very blatant for all to see.
"It's lovely to think that if I was up against it I could probably fudge my way through a waltz. But I still don't think I'm a dancer. I still can't dance!"
Meanwhile, Holly believes she wasn't a hit with viewers because she wasn't as "cheesy" as some of the other contestants.
She told The Sun newspaper: "Cut my head off and I'm doing the same amount of work as everyone else. I'm just not cheesing it up! I'm too embarrassed doing that - I'm shyer than people know.
"I'm a smart-arse and have got a dry sense of humour. That's how I've always handled strange situations. And I put myself down a lot. I didn't realise I did that so much."
The former 'Neighbours' star insisted she isn't upset not to have made it to the final three,
She said: "It was my time to go, but I've had such a great time - and 11 out of 12 weeks is fantastic.
"People always said I seemed really relaxed and the other girls used to say to me, 'Why are you so chilled out?' But I'd say, 'Well, because this is amazing and it's fun and wonderful and I don't want to ruin it being scared.'
"I've had an incredible adventure and I've got great new buddies, so I'm totally at peace with it."
McFly drummer Harry Judd, 'Waterloo Road' actress Chelsee Healy and former pop star Jason Donovan will battle it out in next weekend's 'Strictly' final.
