Amy Childs predicts show will do better
Amy Childs' new reality TV show 'It's All About Amy' debuted with around 500,000 viewers last week but she is confident it will do better in the ratings as the series progresses.
Amy Childs is confident her new reality TV show will gain more viewers.
The glamorous beautician - who quit 'The Only Way Is Essex' earlier this year - launched her latest programme, 'It's All About Amy' and while it debuted with just over 500,000 viewers, she thinks it will soon get more.
She said: "The first episode of my show, 'It's All About Amy,' was aired last week - I hope you enjoyed it! I saw it for the first time on a cinema screen with new! and other journalists, and I was so nervous! I arrived at the launch in a very Essex outfit - a diamante bikini! I even had a vajazzle!
"I watched the show again with my family - and over half a million people tuned in! I'm really pleased. I know some TV critics will say it's not many, but most reality shows pick up as they go on. We'll see! I got lots of lovely tweets, too. I had a few bad ones, but you expect it. I was even a trending topic!"
Amy's cousin and former 'TOWIE' co-star, Harry Derbidge, also appears in the show but she says none of her other ex co-stars will.
She added in her column for new! magazine: "The other 'TOWIE' cast can't be in it because of their contracts, but Harry is my cousin so he sometimes can as he's family."
