The 'X Factor' girl band - made up of Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock - admit they were "gutted" when they failed to attract the attention of any fans just days before the live finals of the ITV1 show started.
Jade told BANG Showbiz: "The most embarrassing moment of the competition was just before the live finals.
"Everyone else was already really well known and we wanted to see if anyone recognised us. As a bit of a test we went to the local Tesco and not one single person knew who we were. Gutted!"
The band - who are mentored by N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos - have also vowed to move to London together to continue their dreams of stardom even if they don't win 'The X Factor', but first they are planning a group holiday with their mums.
Speaking at last night's (30.11.11) TalkTalk secret 'X Factor' gig in London's Soho district, Jade said: "We're all definitely going to move to London and get a little flat together. But first we all want to go on holiday and take our mums with us!
"And have a party with Tulisa, of course. We just miss our families so much so it will be really nice to see them."
Meanwhile, Tulisa has admitted she is like a "mother hen" to the girls.
She told Radio Times magazine: "I want them to feel they've got a little family. They say I'm like a mother hen."
Little Mix will battle it out against Marcus Collins, Amelia Lily and Misha B in this weekend's semi-final.
