Peter Hook wants to "bury the hatchet" with his New Order bandmates.
The bass player launched a venomous attack on Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert in October over them reforming their band without him to play two benefit shows in Belgium and France.
While he initially claimed he wanted to "f**k over New Order in any way he could," he has now cooled and would rather make peace.
He told the 'Jo Wiley Music Show' on TV Channel Sky Arts: "I would like to get on with my life to be honest. I have come to the conclusion that it would be better to bury the hatchet and sort it all out and get on with it. Unfortunately the other side, don't seem to be doing that."
Peter said his change in heart was partly prompted by seeing how fellow indie group R.E.M. split up, deciding to call time on their career as an amicable decision between its three members in
He added: "It was quite interesting the way Michael Stipe said he was proud the way they had split-up and of their legacy and if there is one thing I'm not proud of, it is the New Order have done it.
"It's very, very sad actually. I suppose in a way it helps you understand the process people go through together when they are in a group. It's like a marriage. You are together for so long you literally do drive each other crazy."
