Made In Chelsea has been renewed for a third season.
The E4 reality series - which centres around a group of rich British twenty-somethings living in West London - will air its final episode of the second series tonight (21.11.11), but has already been confirmed to return for both a new series in early 2012 and a Christmas special on December 19.
David Williams, E4's commissioning editor, said: "With such a loyal audience tweeting, checking-in and following the lives of our new TV stars, it's fantastic to be once again returning to the hallowed streets of the Royal Borough of Chelsea."
Sarah Dillistone, executive producer of 'Made In Chelsea', added: "We look forward to bringing new bed hopping, name dropping, champagne popping characters to series 3."
The stars of the show have since taken to twitter to reveal their delight at the news, with Topshop heiress Chloe Green writing: "Last episode of MIC tonight! But good news! We have just been told that there is going to be a 3rd Series of #madeinchelsea. (sic)"
Gabriella Ellis said: "Yes that's right Series 3 of MIC has been confirmed... I am so happy and excited I hope you are too. (sic)"
Binky Felstead added: "Guess what peeps!- there is a SERIES 3!!!!!!#madeinchelsea. Wahhhoooooooo---- Sooooo exciting! RT- its going to be bigger and better! ;). (sic)"
Bisexual Ollie Locke - who has kept viewers transfixed with his relationships with Chloe and Gabriella - wrote: "I would just like to share with you all that #madeinchelsea will be back for a third series next year! Don't worry tonight is not the end. (sic)"
