Ant and Dec won't ever quit I'm A Celeb
Ant and Dec have signed up to present 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!' for two more years and say they can't imagine ever not wanting to work on the show
Ant and Dec have signed up to present 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!' for two more years.
The presenting duo admitted they are huge fans of the ITV1 show - which features a group of celebrities in the Australian jungle - and can't imagine ever not wanting to work on it.
Dec said: "We have just signed up for another two years. I love it and I will never not want to do it."
The pair also blasted critics of the programme who have complained about the quality of the celebrities and slammed this year's line-up - which includes Willie Carson, 69, Lorraine Chase, 60, Stefanie Powers, 69, and the axed Freddie Starr, 68 -as being too old.
Dec told The Sun: "I was never worried by the cast being older this year. I have always felt of all our past series that a lot of the value has come from the older cast members.
"We have some messages from people saying, 'This year is rubbish, I only know two of the people'.
"And we are like, 'I can't quite get which two you only know'.
"If you only know two of our cast that says more about you. If you don't know Fatima Whitbread you should be ashamed of yourself!"
Ant added: "The one thing everyone always says about 'I'm A Celebrity' when the lineup is announced is 'They are all Z-listers'. Every year!
"But the fact is Fatima Whitbread is a household name and Willie Carson is a household name."
