Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall may be forced to pull out of 'The X Factor' live show tomorrow night (19.11.11).
The brunette singer went to the doctors earlier today (18.11.11) after she was struck down with suspected tonsillitis, which could see her miss the girl group's movie week-themed performance - but fellow bandmate Perrie Edwards is confident she'll be fine to sing.
The 18-year-old blonde told BANG Showbiz: "Jade's gone to the doctors, she might have tonsillitis.
"She had a bad throat the other day and I took a picture with my phone because it's got a really good flash. She's just got white stuff all over her tonsils so I sent her to the doctors.
"Hopefully she'll be OK for tomorrow night. She's a trooper."
The group - who are also made up of Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson and are mentored by Tulisa - are desperately hoping Jade pulls through because they don't want to perform as a threesome.
Perrie said: "I don't really want to think about performing as a three because it would scare the life out of me. It would be like losing a limb or something."
Little Mix were criticised on last week's show for their similar energetic performances week-in week-out - but they are set to perform a slower song, which is "all about the vocals", tomorrow night.
Jesy explained: "We don't have a full-on dance routine this week. It's all about the vocals.
"We really wanted to do something a bit different and we think now is the right time to do that."
