Sam Faiers: I didn't want to end up like Lauren

Sam Faiers ditched Mark Wright because she didn't want to "end up like Lauren Goodger".
The 20-year-old blonde dumped her 'The Only Way is Essex' co-star because she has "too much pride" to end up like the nightclub promoter's former fiancee Lauren - who had a 10-year on-off relationship with Mark - and she thinks the 24-year-old hunk should be single now he's appearing on 'I'm A Celebrity . Get Me Out of Here!'.
Sam said: "Obviously I'll be gutted if I see him get it on with someone else out there, that's just natural.
"He's going to have a flirt - it's in his personality and nature, so I'd rather just save myself from it.
"I didn't want to end up like Lauren [Goodger], I have too much pride in myself. I have seen what she's been through and I wouldn't want that to happen to me.
"I meant what I said to Mark about trust in a relationship - he's going into the jungle and he's got to be
single and enjoy himself. I don't think he is ready to commit. The last thing he wants is to worry about what he's doing, how he's acting or who he's flirting with."
Sam is hoping womaniser Mark triumphs on the ITV1 programme, and she hasn't ruled out the pair rekindling their brief romance in the future.
She added in an interview with Star magazine: "I'm protecting myself, but I'm going to support him the whole way. I have done this for his benefit. We'll see what will happen in the future.
"I'll miss him but, at the same time, he's on my TV every night so he's not really gone anywhere, has he?"
