Willie Carson, Lorraine Chase and Freddie Starr have been confirmed for 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!'.
Former jockey Willie, 68, and ex-'Emmerdale' actress Lorraine, 60, arrived in Australia yesterday (07.11.11) ready to enter the jungle, while comedian Freddie, 68, was spotted leaving Heathrow airport to jet out to Oz.
US actress Stefanie Powers, 69, is also set to take part and bosses want the line-up to reinforce the message that "life begins at 50".
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It's a tough environment out there but we reckon these old folk can handle the pressure.
"Some of the best characters - Kim Woodburn, Jan Leeming and Tony Blackburn - were all well over 50. This is not a show where age is a barrier, quite the opposite."
Lorraine said of her involvement: "I had a 60th birthday in July and ever since then I've been trying to find a challenge. 'I'm A Celebrity' is that challenge."
Willie added: "I'm really looking forward to experiencing Australia, but I'm not prepared for roughing it in the jungle."
However, there will be some younger faces in the jungle including 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Mark Wright, 24, 23-year-old McFly heartthrob Dougie Poynter and 'the Real Hustle' star Jessica-Jane Clement, 26.
The ITV1 show - which will again by hosted by Ant and Dec - starts on Sunday (13.11.11).
