Lulu leaves Strictly

Lulu has fired a parting shot at 'Strictly Come Dancing' bosses after being voted off the show last night (06.11.11).
The 'Shout' hitmaker - who is 5ft 1in - was eliminated from the BBC One programme after scoring 27 out of a possible 40 on Saturday night's (05.11.11) show, but she has hit out at producers for pairing her up with 6ft professional dancer Brendan Cole.
The 63-year-old singer - who was in the bottom two alongside boxer Audley Harrison and his partner Natalie Lowe - told The Sun newspaper: "It's difficult for a person with long legs to dance ballroom with a person with short legs.
"Ideally the top of the woman's head should be midway up the man's forehead. But my eyes looked into Brendan's chest. It was very hard spinning around the dancefloor with someone who is 6ft tall - it was difficult to keep up with him.
"If you spoke to a professional dancer, they'd probably say the ideal thing is for you to be a similar height. Vincent thought he and I would have been perfect together."
Despite being sad to leave the competition, the diminutive singer admitted the gruelling 'Strictly' training left her battered and bruised.
She added: "There's not an inch of you that doesn't move. I had bruised ribs and my knees are all bruised. My feet would throb in the night and wake me up the whole time."
