Mary J Blige to join The Voice?
Singer Mary J Blige is in talks to join the judging panel of the UK version of 'The Voice'
Mary J Blige is set to join 'The Voice'.
The singer is in talks to be one of the coaches on the UK version of the hit US singing show - which is being aired on BBC One next year - although admits nothing has been signed yet.
She said: "I have been approached and we have been in discussions about 'The Voice'. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right now. We'll have to wait and see."
Mary explained she's intrigued about the format of the show, which sees the four judges sit with their backs to hopefuls as they listen to them sing, so they are only be judge on their vocal talent and not their appearance.
She added: "It's incredible how you sit with your back and judge someone on their voice before you see them and find out if they have the full package."
If Mary does sign up for the show, she will join Jessie J on the judging panel, while Tom Jones, will.i.am and George Michael are also rumoured to be in consideration.
The US version - which had Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine on its judging panel - was launched earlier this year and became a huge hit.
