Tulisa Contostavlos is in danger of missing this week's 'X Factor' after being struck down with severe toothache.
The N-Dubz singer - who mentors boy band The Risk and girl group Little Mix - reportedly spent most of yesterday afternoon (02.11.11) in a London hospital after the £12,000 veneers she splashed out on as part of her 'X Factor' makeover this summer started causing her extreme pain.
However, Tulisa has vowed to be on Saturday night's (05.11.11) show, even if she has to be "wheeled" on to the stage.
An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Tulisa was in so much pain she couldn't go to work. But no dodgy tooth is going to keep her away today.
"She'd never want to miss the important stages - and she wouldn't sit out an entire weekend of live shows. She'll be there on Saturday if she has to be wheeled out."
Meanwhile, Kelly Rowland - who missed last weekend's live shows after being struck down with a mystery throat infection - has now jetted back to the UK from her home in Los Angeles, and admitted she was "devastated" to have been absent when her act Sophie Habibis was eliminated from the competition on Sunday.
She said: "I'm devastated I missed last weekend. The back of my throat was swollen shut. I had a throat infection. But I'm back and raring to go. I don't want a repeat of last weekend."
