Jameela Jamil 'terrified' of hosting gig
Jameela Jamil is so ''terrified'' of hosting this year's T4's Stars of 2011, as she thinks she might fall over in front of the 18,000-strong crowd
Jameela Jamil is "absolutely terrified" of hosting this year's T4's Stars of 2011.
The TV presenter - who is fronting the live music event at Earl's Court on December 11 alongside fellow 'T4' hosts Nick Grimshaw, Matt Edmondson, Georgie Okell and Will Best - is scared of falling over during the show, but she is not going to tone down her footwear choice.
Jameela joked: "We didn't do the main stage last year and I'm absolutely terrified, I'll be wearing a nappy.
"Any number of things could go wrong, you could die or just forget your lines. It's terrifying, you can't even hear yourself think out there. But the adrenaline just carries you through. I survived walking down a catwalk dressed as fish and chips last year so after that I can do anything.
"I couldn't believe I didn't fall off the stage at T4 on the Beach, but maybe T4 Stars will be my moment. I'll still be wearing my highest stripper heels though."
With the likes of Professor Green, Jessie J, Tinchy Stryder, Cher Lloyd and The Wanted set to perform at the one-day spectacle in front of around 18,000 people, the brunette beauty doesn't envy the acts who are going to go before or after 'No Regrets' hitmaker Dappy Contostavlos.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Dappy will be great. If he ever retires I think we'll just keep getting him back for T4 events because there is no T4 without Dappy. He will be one of the stars of the show this year, nobody wants to come before or after him.
"I think Professor Green is going to bring the house down this year. He's such a good guy, I think he's universally loved by everybody."
T4's Stars of 2011 takes place on Sunday 11th December at Earl's Court, London. The event will be broadcast across Channel 4 and 4Music. For tickets and more info, go to www.channel4.com/t4.
