Prime Minister David Cameron enjoys watching 'The X Factor' but admits 'The Only Way Is Essex' is ''too raucous'' for him
David Cameron is a fan of 'The X Factor'.
The Prime Minister - who has children Nancy, seven, Elwen, five, and 15-month-old Florence with wife Samantha - tunes into the TV talent show with his eldest daughter, but isn't a fan of the early rounds of the competition because of the eccentric contestants they attract.
He said: "Nancy loves 'The X Factor' but I wait until nearer the end of the series. I can't be dealing with the man in the silver suit."
While the politician is happy to watch 'The X Factor', he is not a fan of fly-on-the-wall reality show 'The Only Way Is Essex', which Samantha's father Sir Reginald Sheffield suggested he watch.
He told Grazia magazine: "My father-in-law told me I should watch it, which is very funny, so I saw about half an episode but it was just too raucous for me."
However, Mr. Cameron isn't the only celebrity who likes to watch 'The X Factor' with their kids.
Supermodel Kate Moss is a huge fan of the show and even themed her daughter Lila's recent ninth birthday party around the programme.
A source said at the time: "Lila is a massive 'X Factor' fan and so is Kate. It's become a Saturday night tradition, sitting together and rating each act.
"Kate came up with the idea of having an 'X Factor'-themed party and wants to make it as realistic as possible."
