'The Only Way is Essex' crooner James 'Arg' Argent claims he ''doesn't need'' to rely on chat-up lines when he is trying to pick up women
James 'Arg' Argent "doesn't need" to use chat-up lines to pick up women.
The 'Only Way is Essex' crooner - who has been dating co-star Lydia Bright on and off for the past three years - claims he is too good with the opposite sex to have to rely on cheesy pick-up lines, but his pal Mark Wright prefers to impress the ladies with his smart dress sense.
Speaking in exclusive video 'Partying and Pulling Essex Style' to celebrate the launch of DanceStar Party on Playstation 3, Arg joked: "I don't really use chat-up lines, I don't really need to."
Mark quipped: "Arg just goes up to a girl and goes, 'What's happening babe?' and then burps. It's just disgusting.
"I take a lot of pride in what I wear when I go out, I always like to look nice. I'll just have a shower and then blow dry my hair, put on my moisturiser, a nice tight T-shirt and some gel and I'm ready to go."
However, the 24-year-old hunk - who called time on his 10-year on-off romance with former fiance Lauren Goodger in August and has since been dating co-star Sam Faiers - opts for the hard-to-get approach when he's on the pull.
Mark explained: "When you get digits off a girl you've got to wait at least two days before you text her for the first time, and then you wait for a text back and you give it two or three days messages before leaving her hanging for a few days."
Arg added: "It's probably the right thing to do, but I'd probably get a bit excited and text them back straight away."
