Rizzle Kicks love it when women throw their bras at them.

The 'When I was a Youngster' duo – made up of Jordan 'Rizzle' Stephens and Harley 'Sylvester' Alexander-Sule - were amazed when fans started to take the words to one of their songs literally and actually shower them with underwear during concerts.

Jordan told BANG Showbiz: "There's a lyric in 'Down With the Trumpets', which goes 'how much sound from the brass to the air, will it take, to put your bras in the air?'

"I genuinely didn't see 'Trumpets' as being a hit single when I wrote that lyric it was purely for my own comedic value, but we started doing that and girls are throwing their bras. So I'm thinking, 'that's awesome!'"

Harley jokingly added: "And we're currently working on our next single 'Get Your Kit Off (Girls Only)'"

Jordan admits the group have eclectic influences, and he draws inspiration for his rhymes from bands ranging from Jurassic 5 to The Libertines.

He added: "Sometimes it's hard to have an image based lyric. Alex Turner from the Arctic Monkeys does it really well. And Dappy [from N-Dubz] is not just an inspiration, he is a great entertainer. He's really helped us and he's really driven and dedicated."

Rizzle Kicks play at Relentless Energy Drink Freeze Festival, which takes place at London's Battersea Power station on October 28 and 29. For more information visit www.relentlessfreeze.com
