Sami Brookes: Louis doesn't know what he's on about
Sami Brookes has claimed her former 'X Factor' mentor Louis Walsh ''doesn't know what he's on about''
Sami Brookes has claimed Louis Walsh "doesn't know what he's on about".
The 'X Factor' hopeful - who was eliminated from the ITV1 show on Sunday night (23.10.11) after landing in the bottom two alongside controversial Kitty Bruckell - has hit out at her mentor for never wanting her in his category in the first place.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I knew when they gave me that song and they wouldn't let me change it that they wanted me out. They can't mould me into the next Beyonce, the next Katy Perry, the next Rihanna. They didn't want me there. I'm a bigger girl and they couldn't find a place for me.
"Louis didn't pick me at Judges' Houses so he never wanted me all along.
"He's such a kind-hearted person and really, really funny - but in terms of song choices he doesn't know what he's on about."
Sami - whose rendition of Cher's 'Turn Back Time' was deemed "boring" by head judge Gary Barlow on Saturday night's 'X Factor' - thinks the Take That singer swayed public decision with his comments, as he's trying to take over from show boss Simon Cowell as the programme's Mr. Nasty.
She added: "The things Gary said were harsh. He has that much of a following that what he says does affect the way people vote in the competition. He really made a mark on me with what he said. The song was boring, but I went out there and gave it the best I could.
"Everyone misses Simon and respects Simon so of course he's trying to be like him."
