'The X Factor' is to feature an Amy Winehouse tribute episode.

Later in the series, the finalists will sing tracks made famous by the late 'Rehab' hitmaker - who was found dead at her home in Camden, North London, in July at the age of 27 - and Amy's goddaughter Dionne Bromfield will perform in memory of the star.

Dionne told the Daily Star newspaper: "They are doing a tribute episode to Amy and I've been asked to sing something. You'll have to wait and see what I do."

Meanwhile, eccentric hopeful Johnny Robinson will put his high-pitched voice to good use in this week's rock-themed episode by performing The Darkness hit 'I Believe In A Thing Called Love'.

After plans for Heroes Week were shelved yesterday (19.10.11) by bosses of the ITV1 show, Johnny was forced to change from his original track - Abba's 'Winner Takes It All' - and reportedly stayed up until 3am practising the new song.

'X Factor' chiefs are said to have made the last-minute change to this week's theme in order to "spice things up" and add "plenty of drama" in a bid to boost ratings.

An insider said: "Producers wanted to spice things up a bit for viewers and they thought the return of Rock Week would provide plenty of drama. It will challenge some of the acts, who have had an easy ride so far."
