Kara Tointon and Artem Chingvintsev could be on the rocks after the 'Strictly Come Dancing' hunk stormed out their London home.
The couple - who met when they were partnered alongside each other, and eventually won, last year's series of the BBC One show - are said to have had a series of steaming rows, which saw Artem move in with 'Strictly' pal Robin Windsor amid fears his year-long relationship with Kara is "doomed".
A friend of the pair said: "They've been having a terrible time together and decided they needed some space. Artem left their new home and skulked off to Robin's. The stress of the show has been getting to Artem as it's a tough gig with numerous rehearsals that fill up his day.
"They're a very passionate couple so when things flare up, they tend to flare up in a big way. Everyone is worried that the relationship is now doomed."
Kara and Artem's arguments have reportedly come about after the former 'EastEnders' actress became jealous of the Russian dancer's saucy routines with Australian beauty Holly Valance during this year's series of 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
However, Holly is said to be "besotted" with her millionaire boyfriend, Nick.
The friend added to The Sun newspaper: "Holly is besotted with her bloke, Nick. She wouldn't dream of spoiling that. She loves dancing with Artem but that's as far as it goes."
Despite the claims, Kara's spokesperson insists the couple are "very much together".
