Helen Flanagan to become Wales WAG?
Helen Flanagan quit 'Coronation Street' to move to Wales with her footballer boyfriend Scott Sinclair
Helen Flanagan quit 'Coronation Street' to strengthen her relationship with footballer Scott Sinclair.
The 21-year-old actress - who has played Rosie Webster in the ITV1 soap since she was nine years old - will film her final scenes at Christmas, and is to embark upon a move to Wales with the Swansea City player.
A source explained: "Helen and Scott have been going from strength to strength but the distance between them while she works on 'Coronation Street' has put a bit of strain on them.
"She's desperate to be closer to him and plans to move into his house when she finishes. And she's made no secret of her plans to get engaged."
Meanwhile, the ITV1 soap has been plunged into crisis after both Craig Charles (Lloyd Mullaney) and Simon Gregson (Steve MacDonald) called in sick during the filming of crucial Christmas scenes.
An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We've had to stand the crew down. Craig not turning up threw a right spanner in the works.
"We're filming scenes for Christmas so they caused a huge headache. We've got crew just standing around not doing anything. Now all those scenes have to be rescheduled, it's utter chaos."
Soap bosses have also been forced to work without Michael Le Vell - who plays Kevin Webster in 'Corrie' - after his planned holiday was extended when he was accused of sexual assault earlier this month. He will return to work on Thursday (20.10.11).
