Hollyoaks murder spree to come to 'gruesome' end
'Hollyoaks' insiders have promised a ''gruesome and chilling'' end to Silas Blissett's murder spree in the Channel 4 soap
Silas Blissett's murderous reign on 'Hollyoaks' is to come to a "gruesome and chilling" end.
The serial killer - played by Jeff Rawle - will challenge Lynsey Nolan (Karen Hassan) to guess his next victim, claiming if she succeeds he will turn himself in to the police - but if she fails he will murder a fourth victim following his slaying of India Longford, Rae Wilson and Rebecca Massey.
A show insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "There are going to be two special weeks of episodes in which this storyline comes to its gruesome and chilling end at Halloween.
"Silas will be dressed as the Grim Reaper and someone will die that night."
Silas previously killed India (Beth Kingston) after meeting her on an internet dating website, followed by Rebecca (Daisy Turner) when she tried to blackmail him, and the soap baddie then strangled Rae (Alice Barlow).
While Lynsey identifies Theresa McQueen, Amy Barnes and Texas Longford as possible victims, she is unaware Silas is keeping pregnant Mercedes Fisher (Jennifer Metcalfe) locked up in his vault.
Jeff has previously revealed he loves playing the villainous murderer, claiming it's "the best part".
He said: "It's the best role to have! Judy Garland once said 'If you have to be in a soap, make sure you don't play the worst part'. She was talking about her own life being a soap, but she's right.
"As Silas I've definitely got the best part. The rest of the cast are very jealous and always saying to me 'I want to play the baddie'.
"In my entire career, this is the first time I've played a murderer. I tend to be cast as likeable losers - the victim, not the killer. I'm much more used to being murdered."
