Nu Vibe were voted off 'The X Factor' last night (16.10.11).
The five-piece boy band - made up of Jordan Higo, Stefan Romer, Bradley Johnson, Richard Milford and Ashford Campbell - landed in the bottom two alongside teen heartthrob Frankie Cocozza following their rendition of U2's 'With or Without You' on Saturday night's (15.10.11) show.
With only the group's mentor Tulisa Contostavlos voting to save the band - who were originally solo artists before being put together in the Boot Camp stage of the competition - over Frankie, the 18-year-old hunk made it through to next week's show.
Tulisa was reduced to tears at seeing her protegees axed at such an early stage in the series, but the band vowed to stick together.
They wrote on their official twitter page: "Thank you for everything. We've had such a great experience. Sorry we can't perform to you on the X factor again but this is not the last of Nu Vibe. (sic)"
Nu Vibe received mostly negative comments from the show's judging panel - Tulisa, Kelly Rowland, Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow - following their performance on Saturday night.
Gary said: "I'm sorry guys but no vibe for me. At this stage in the competition I would expect to hear vocals a lot tighter than this."
Louis added: "There's something missing, there's no vibe."
Meanwhile, Kitty Brucknell was booed by the audience at 'The X Factor' for the second week running after learning she had made it through to next Saturday's show (22.10.11).
