Kitty Brucknell to quit The X Factor?
'X Factor' bosses fear Kitty Brucknell could quit the ITV1 show after being shunned by her fellow contestants
'X Factor' bosses fear Kitty Brucknell could quit the show after being shunned by her fellow contestants.
The eccentric hopeful - who was booed by audience members on last weekend's results show - has reportedly told friends the situation in the £6 million Hertfordshire home she shares with the wannabes has become "intolerable", as people "don't understand her".
Amid fears the 26-year-old Britney Spears impersonator could quit the ITV1 competition, show bosses have given Kitty her own room in a bid to stop her from walking out on the show.
An 'X Factor' insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Kitty has clashed with other contestants and some of them really don't like her. They think she is attention-seeking.
"We don't want her to be in any more hostile situations, or risk her feeling bullied, so now she has her own room. She is the first contestant to get their own room this series.
"Hopefully things will settle down now and everyone will concentrate on their singing. The last thing we want is Kitty walking out.She is one of the stars of the show."
This comes after former contestant, soldier Jonjo Kerr - who was eliminated from the series by mentor Louis Walsh last weekend - branded Kitty "strange" and claimed the hopefuls living in the 'X Factor' house are "f**king sick" of her attention-seeking behaviour.
He said: "Everyone in the house is f***ing sick of her, crying and moaning at everything. She's too much. That's why she can't win. I don't think she knows herself what's wrong with her. She's a bit strange and should have been first to go.
"She's been kept as a novelty act to wind people up. It's tough to know I've been kicked out so Kitty can stay there to annoy the country. Because that's basically what they're doing."
