Ann Widdecombe is to host a new quiz show.
The former Conservative MP - who gained popularity after competing on 'Strictly Come Dancing' last year - has landed her first presenting job, fronting 'Cleverdicks' for Sky Atlantic.
The programme, to be broadcast in an early evening slot next year, will feature four contestants playing for a cash prize and the right to call themselves a "cleverdick".
Ann said: "Some may say that I am a cleverdick to have secured this contract but they should meet some of the formidable cleverdicks who will be playing during the show."
Network chiefs are thrilled to have landed Ann to present the programme.
Sky Atlantic's director Elaine Pyke said: "'Cleverdicks' and Ann Widdecombe - who could resist?
"Sitting in an early evening slot, the show is intelligent, irreverent and hugely entertaining and will be a great start to an evening's viewing on Sky Atlantic."
As well as making her debut as a quiz show host, Ann will soon notch up another first - an appearance in pantomime.
She is due to star opposite 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge Craig Revel Horwood in a production of 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' in Dartford, Kent, from December 9.
