Sam Faiers claims 'The Only Way Is Essex' is ruining her love life.

The 20-year-old reality TV star - who split from 'TOWIE' hunk Joey Essex this summer after four months together - thinks it's "near impossible" to have a meaningful relationship on the ITV2 show, and it will be "a while" before anyone on the series finds love.

She said: "It's near impossible to have a relationship on 'TOWIE'. None of us realised it before. The filming schedule takes its toll and we are all so busy travelling all over the country.

"I felt too young to be in such a serious and often long-distance relationship. I think it will be a while before any relationships on the show last. None of us really realised how much it would take over. We just need to find our feet first."

Sam - who also had a brief fling with co-star Mark Wright during the first series of 'TOWIE' - admitted the 24-year-old hunk has been calling her for "long chats" in the wake of his break-up from former fiancee and on-off girlfriend of 10 years, Lauren Goodger.

She added in an interview with the Daily Star newspaper: "We have a connection and talk for hours about stuff. I get him, I think. When he broke up with Lauren we talked it over and over and he rings me now for long chats. I like it.

"He wants to move on and so does she so who knows what will happen in the future? You can't rule anything out in Essex."
