Michael Jackson's children paid tribute to their father at the Michael Forever concert in Wales on Saturday (08.10.11).

Prince, 14, Paris, 13, and Blanket, nine, helped host and introduce members of the 'Beat It' singer's family and pop stars from the UK and the US - including Beyonce Knowles, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green - as they performed a series of Michael's songs.

Dressed in a red Jacket reminiscent of the iconic one worn by Michael in his 'Thriller' video, Paris told the audience: "We're very happy to be here on this special night to honour our father."

She also introduced Beyonce, who performed Jackson 5 track 'I Wanna be where you Are' via a video link, and praised her by saying: "She is always pushing the envelope with her boundless energy and talent."

Ne Yo had earlier kicked off the concert - attended by 50,000 fans - performing Michael's hits 'Billie Jean' and 'The Lady in My Life'.

Later in the show soul singer Gladys Knight performed 'Believe in Yourself', before being joined by Motown legend Smokey Robinson for a duet of 'I Just Can't Stop Loving You'.

British boy band JLS gave a rendition of 'The Way you Make me Feel' before being joined onstage by Michael's brothers Marlon, Tito and Jackie for Jackson 5 track 'Blame it on the Boogie'.

The group are hoping to take their collaboration with the Jackson brothers to the studio, with band member Oritse Williams telling The Sun newspaper: "We discussed some things backstage about the future and they want to take us out for dinner to talk further. Who knows? It would be amazing."

Michael's sister La Toya also made her first public live performance in 20 years, while three of the singer's nephews appeared in their band, 3T.

Unfortunately, Black Eyed Peas had to cancel their performance last week, and Jennifer Hudson had to pull out at the last minute, citing problems with production issues.

The concert ended with a version of 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' which saw all the night's performers take to the stage.

Michael died from acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009, and his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray is currently on trial in Los Angeles, accused of involuntary manslaughter in relation to his death.
