Jonjo Kerr could be sent to Afghanistan
'X Factor' hopeful Jonjo Kerr has revealed his Army bosses will send him to Afghanistan if he doesn't hit the big time.
'X Factor' hopeful Jonjo Kerr will be sent to Afghanistan if he doesn't become a star.
The soldier - who is being by mentored by Louis Walsh on the ITV1 talent show - is currently on a break from the Armed Forces in a bid to hit the big time but has been told by his bosses he will be deployed to the war-torn country if he doesn't succeed.
He said: "The Army think I'm talented and want me to do well. But the battalion is due in Afghanistan next year. If this doesn't happen, I'll go back to work."
However, Jonjo, 28 says he won't change who he is in order to succeed.
He revealed: "I'm not going to be false, I am gonna be exactly who I am on stage.
"I'm not one to go name calling, but if other people want to be false and have game plans that is up to them and hopefully the public will see through them."
Meanwhile, bosses are said to be so concerned by the behaviour of Jonjo's fellow contestant Kitty Brucknell that they are considering moving her out of the house all the hopefuls live in.
The eccentric blonde has had furious rows with some of the others in the house and producers think she may be better off living on her own.
A show source said: "In previous years we've struggled to control some of the rows in the house, and we're now seriously considering moving Kitty to another location to make things easier for all concerned.
"This week there have been a catalogue of incidents and she is a nightmare to deal with. If things don't change we will have to take drastic action."
