'Strictly Come Dancing' contestant Nancy Dell'Olio threatened to quit the show unless she had her own hairdresser.
The firey Italian star – former girlfriend of England football manager Sven-Goran Eriksson - reportedly wanted her own team to work on her appearance, as she felt the show's stylists were not up to scratch.
Nancy, 50, reportedly even threatened not to turn up for a walk -on appearance with dance partner Anton Du Beke on Friday's (30.09.11) show, ahead of her debut performance last night (01.10.11).
However, bosses at the BBC show were firm, and told her she would have to make do with the supplied hairdresser, reminding her she is under contract to appear on the show.
A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: "It was later made clear that the hairdresser on the show would be the one Nancy would have to use and that the matter wasn't up for discussion."
Nancy blamed her actions on nerves ahead of her dancing debut, which went less than smoothly, as she got her feet caught in her feather boa as she was led around the floor by Anton, gaining the lowest score of the weekend with just 12 points.
The remaining six contestants who didn't dance on Friday's show - Jason Donovan, Harry Judd, Chelsee Healy, Alex Jones, Edwina Currie and Rory Bremner - also took to the floor last night.
Jason and partner Kristina Rihanoff were celebrating after being awarded the highest score of the whole weekend with 32 points from the judges.
