Mark Wright can boast about TOWIE BAFTA
Mark Wright admits can always boast about The Only Way Is Essex's BAFTA win this year if people criticise the reality show
Mark Wright can just boast about The Only Way Is Essex's BAFTA award if people criticise the programme.
The hunk admits people in his hometown were critical of the reality show when it first started but since he and the other stars won the YouTube Audience Award at the prestigious ceremony earlier this year he thinks the series has proven how great it is.
He told The Sun's TV Buzz magazine: "People in Essex were critical at first. But now if they don't like it, we can just hold up our BAFTA."
His co-star Jessica Wright admits 'TOWIE' - which returns to ITV2 screens this Sunday (25.09.11) - has completely changed her and her family's lives making them as famous as 'The Osbournes'.
She said: "It's weird, the attention my family gets. Our house is like the Osbournes' now - it's crazy!"
And sexy Sam Faiers insists the cast's ever-increasing fame has some great benefits, especially the celebrity parties they now get invited to.
In a joint interview with her 'TOWIE' co-stars, she revealed: "The parties we are going to are amazing, I still pinch myself when celebrities know who I am. How mad is that?"
