Robbie Savage injured ahead of Strictly launch
Robbie Savage has already suffered an injury by rupturing his thigh muscle during rehearsals for 'Strictly Come Dancing'
Robbie Savage has ruptured a muscle in his leg.
The retired footballer is worried the injury will affect his chances on BBC One show 'Strictly Come Dancing', but is determined to continue training for the sake of his professional dance partner Ola Jordan.
Writing on his twitter page, Robbie said: "Gym now followed by 9 hours practice , bad news though got a thigh strain !!!
"Its hard dancing on it's own but with a ruptured muscle Is even harder , but can't let Ola down !!!
"bad news physio said I've ruptured it at some point but what can I do just got to grit my teeth pal, I'm in a team,
"If nothing else I'm working my balls off to not let ola down 6-30am til 6 pm today, might not be good but I'm certainly trying so hard. (sic)"
However, Ola - who is married to fellow 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional James Jordan - doesn't appear to have too much sympathy for her partner and has urged him to toughen up.
She tweeted: "Having a little coffee brake at rehearsals! Working hard! But Robbie is injured already!!!! ..... need to get him can of "tuffen up"! (sic)"
