Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has confirmed the band will tour ''on and off'' throughout 2012
Thom Yorke has confirmed Radiohead will tour next year.
The group have played few dates in support of their latest album 'The King of Limbs', but now the frontman has revealed the band will go on the road "on and off" throughout 2012.
He said: "The idea is to go out and play next year on and off during the year. We did get a massive buzz out of our first gig at Glastonbury, that was a sort of nice energy really. It feels like a good idea"
Speaking to BBC Radio 1's Giles Peterson. Thom also indicated that Portishead's Clive Deamer will join the band on tour after he performed with them at the Glastonbury Festival earlier this year.
As well as returning to Radiohead, Thom is also recording an album with his side project, Atoms For Peace, though he is unsure when it will be released.
Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea is also a member of Atoms For Peace and the musician recently admitted working with the singer had been a huge influence on his recent songwriting.
He said: "It influenced me being around Thom. He's an unbelievably great musician and a beautiful man. He's so pure as an artist. It's less that I would try to copy him and more that just being around someone who channels really powerful energy is beneficial.
"It's a relationship I will always hope to nurture."
