Simon Cowell's Made In Chelsea advice
Chloe Green agreed to take part in 'Made In Chelsea' after seeking advice from family friend Simon Cowell.
Chloe Green sought advice from Simon Cowell before agreeing to appear on 'Made In Chelsea'.
The 23-year-old heiress - whose father is Topshop tycoon Sir Philip Green - has joined the cast of the E4 reality TV show for its second series and admits she is grateful for the support she has received from the media mogul, who is a family friend.
She said: "He gave me the best advice. He said if something is happening and you don't like it, just walk off the set and call me. Take time out to think and then go back with options that work for you."
Chloe's father was initially unhappy with her decision to appear on the programme, but understands her point of view after they sat down to discuss her motives together.
Philip said: "I wasn't keen at first. You do everything you can to protect your kids in the kind of world we live in. And I know she's going to be very exposed. But she's thought about what she is taking on. Good or bad, this will be part of a growing-up experience. I have to let her get on with that."
Chloe - who is dating bisexual 'Made In Chelsea' star Ollie Locke - added in an interview with this week's special London Fashion Week issue of Grazia magazine: "He needed to know why I was doing it. We sat down and wrote a list of pros and cons. Then he said I might as well give it a shot."
