Mark Wright is in talks to take up a role in 'EastEnders'.
The 'Only Way Is Essex' hunk - who will return to screens for the third series of the ITV2 show on Sunday (25.09.11) - has met with producers of the BBC One soap in the hope of expanding his repertoire into the acting field, and he thinks he would be perfect portraying a "hard man" character.
He explained: "I'm still really pursuing the acting and I have spoken with one of the producers of 'EastEnders'. I want to play a hard man role but to be honest, I reckon I could pull anything off."
The 24-year-old reality TV star - who recently split from his fiancee, co-star Lauren Goodger, after dating on and off for 10 years - admitted he is also eyeing up Paddy McGuinness' presenting role on dating show 'Take Me Out'.
Mark added to the Daily Star newspaper: "I'd like to have Paddy McGuinness' presenting gig on 'Take Me Out', but I wouldn't appear on a celebrity version of it as I'm not ready to date again.
"I'm still upset about splitting up with Lauren. I hope we can be friends but I don't think she wants it."
