Kelly and Tulisa to return to X Factor
Simon Cowell is set to sign up Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos for the next series of 'The X Factor' because he's been so impressed with how they've done in the current run
Simon Cowell is set to sign up Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos for the next series of 'The X Factor'.
The music mogul - who still produces the ITV1 show despite quitting the judging panel to concentrate on the US version - has been impressed with the former Destiny's Child star and N-Dubz singer during the current run and will offer to double their salaries for them to return.
A source said: "Simon loves Kelly and Tulisa and there is zero chance of them losing their place on the panel next year."
Kelly and Tulisa, along with Gary Barlow, joined Louis Walsh on the judging panel following the departures of Simon, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue and Simon thinks it's the best line-up yet.
The source added to The People newspaper: "Simon believes Tulisa is the next Cheryl and will be even bigger. At first Simon was worried about Cheryl not being on the show but those worries have now disappeared.
"Simon thinks he's made the best possible choices for this year's show. He is being very smug about it. Now there is no place for Cheryl. Any hope she had that she would be back next year has been dashed because these two girls have smashed it."
Gary is also set to return after impressing with his competiveness and honest opinions.
The source said: "Gary is a dead cert to be back. The only unsure one is Louis. But Simon values him and his music knowledge hugely."
