Robbie Savage couldn't eat before Strictly

Robbie Savage couldn't eat before his first appearance on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The retired footballer - who has played matches in front of crowds thousands of people during his career - has revealed his "tummy was in bits" before he took part on the group dance on the BBC One series last Saturday (10.09.11).
Robbie told this week's ZOO Magazine: "I never thought dancing would be as tiring as this. I was knackered after the first show and I was sweating buckets. The thing that gets me is the nerves - I couldn't eat anything before performing because my tummy was in bits."
The 36-year-old sportsman has been paired with professional dancer
Ola Jordan and he is hoping the sexy blonde's fans will keep him in the ballroom competition.
He said: "Ola's great and has a massive fan base, which I hope helps me, as I'm going to need the extra support. The training started this week and she's already working me really hard - but she needs to, as last Saturday was the first proper dance I've done."
Among the other celebrities competing this year are former 'Neighbours' stars Jason Donavan and Holly Valance, singer Lulu, ex-'EastEnders' actress Anita Dobson, 'The One Show' host Alex Jones and astrologer Russell Grant, who Robbie describes as being "surprisingly light on his feet".
He explained: "Russell Grant in particular is brilliant - he has us in stitches most of the time. I have to say that although he's a big guy, he's surprisingly light on his feet - he's apparently lost 10 stone."
