Pig farmer Darren Thompson has become Red or Black's third millionaire.
The father-of-two scooped the huge jackpot on Simon Cowell's latest ITV1 show last night (08.09.11) when he followed the advice of his two-year-old daughter Olivia and chose black and revealed he plans to spend part of his winnings on two pigs and name them after the show's presenters Ant and Dec.
He said: "I would love to buy a little plot of land, get a couple of pigs and name them Ant & Dec.
"I can't really explain the feeling, your mind is full of everything, yet it is blank. It really hasn't sunk in yet. I'm feeling extremely excited and nervous. To be honest I don't know what I am supposed to be feeling. When the wheel started I pushed the buzzer but didn't look at the wheel. I looked at the ceiling and the floor and focused on the sound of the crowd, then when I looked up it was on black. I did tell my boss that if I win the million don't expect me in on Saturday but I will go back in on Sunday I won't be giving up work! Tonight I'm going to go back to the hotel and have a couple of drinks and then off to bed as I'm exhausted!"
Convicted criminal Nathan Hageman and carer Kevin Cartwright have previously scooped the £1 million prize.
