Tulisa Contostavlos: I'm not scared of Simon
Tulisa Contostavlos isn't scared of her 'X Factor' boss Simon Cowell, despite his powerful reputation.
Tulisa Contostavlos isn't scared of Simon Cowell.
The N-Dubz star was hired by the music mogul as one of the new 'X Factor' judges but instead of being intimated by her powerful boss, Tulisa likes to wind him up.
The 23-year-old star - who is joined on the judging panel of the ITV1 show by Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh - said: "He doesn't scare me at all! I can see why people are scared of him because he's so powerful, but we just banter. He was winding us up trying to start arguments between me and Kelly and I said, 'You cheeky one, you, stop chatting rubbish!' "
Tulisa says she's loving every minute of being on 'The X Factor' and insists she and former Destiny's Child singer Kelly get on really well, despite people trying to make out there is a rivalry between them.
In an interview with the new issue of Company magazine out on September 10, she said: "It was funny when I met her because I was a big Destiny's Child fan, but it took a while for me and Kelly to warm to each other because we didn't have time to have a proper sit-down. But she cracks me up and everyone's upset we're not warring. I'm a hard person to argue with - you have to really piss me off if you want that out of me!"
